Hiya girls,

Been a pretty busy week but I had a real fun, shopping filled weekend. I bought this new dress yesterday and thought I would do an Outfit of the day with it today. The Sun was really hitting me in the eyes so please excuse the weird expressions. I also included the pics of a cute pup that lives in my street, hopefully he will get a forever home soon.

Long time no seeee. I have been so sick the past few days that I could not even open my blogger to post something. I went to watch 'The Conjuring' yesterday and wanted to dress up a bit since its been like soooo long. So I thought I d click pictures for you all. Hope you like them :)

Outfit of the day: Red suit!

Hi girls,

How have you all been? I m finally going home today. YaY. Before I go back and get all busy at home I thought I would share these posts with you.  This is a new supposed to be Palazzo suit I got stitched but the tailor stitched it too short making it almost a Capri suit. I dont like too much messing with my suits but I think it did not look too bad and was a bit of a change.

I love the Maroon red color of my suit and I paired it with simple silver bangles and my trusty Done By None heels. Here are a few pictures, hope you all like them :)

Outfit of the day: Maxi dress Part 2!

As you all know I love Maxi dresses, see the part one here. I had ordered two dresses online from www.tidebuy.com. I thought I got a good deal on it. I ordered one other which is still to reach me. There are a few adjustments I need to make in this dress but you guys let me know how you find it :)

Its pretty comfortable to wear but still needs some fixing. Here are the pictures without any further blabber :)

Outfit of the day: Maxi Part 1!

Hiya girls,

I am soooo into maxi dresses these days. It can be really hard to find one thats not too long on me and this one was love at first site ^_^ I got it at a really affordable price from Splash and I love everything about it. Its just so comfortable. I love Maxi dresses, this summer I bought 3 in total, and I m presenting the first one here :)

I paired it up with my favorite cream heels and some funky jewelry. It was pretty gloomy so the pictures came out a bit dull but I hope you can still see my maxi :)

Birthday makeup and outfit!

Hey girls,

I have been so busy the past week, had lots of work to catch up on. Anyways June 7 th was my birthday ^_^ Like a little kid I wanted to be all dressed up and go to work. I got this dress just a day before my birthday, I thought I would share the pictures with you. Since it was Friday and we could wear casuals in office, it was the perfect day to wear a dress. Its a simple summer dress which was so comfy. The pictures did not come out too well, my mom kept shaking the camera :-P Anyways here are some of the makeup and  the dress. OOTD plus awesome dinner at Rajdhani!

Here is my outfit of the day. I had bought this skirt a while back from Max, really wanted to wear it since long but I forgot my plain black tee at home. So I had to manage it with a spagetti and shrug on top. That was more kaam chalau sort of thing but I loved the whole outfit and it was so comfy for shopping. I paired it with nude heels from www.donebynone.com. 

Mom and I went back for dinner to Rajdhani express. It was AMAZING! The food was so good and they were so nice and hospitable. After dinner they took us for a tour of the kitchen. Everything was prepared in such a lovely way and they even gave me a chance to make some jalebi and min roti :-D. Although the jalebi was a bit messed up but the roti came out pretty good. 

I had tied up my hair as it was so damn hot outside. Everything kept me all comfy for shopping.

Pink saree outfit!

Hiya girls,

I was so blank as to what to post on my blog today. I tell you blank as a sheet, then I suddenly remembered that I did not share with you pictures from a Reception my sister and I attended last month I think. There are nt many pictures but I think you would get a good idea of the outfit. 

The saree is not mine, rather its borrowed from my sister. It was a part of the clothes she got for her wedding. I loved the subtle pink color and the gold accents. Let me know what you think of it :)

Simple shopping OOTD!

Here is a simple OTTD. Please excuse the not so clear phone pics. I was nt in a mood to do an OOTD until pretty late. This is clicked in Chandigarh's new mall Elante. This one has definitely raised the standards for all the malls. We are finally gonna have a Mac close by. I just could nt help getting pictures clicked in front of Mac :-P

What I am wearing is a simple Black top which is more of a dress. I paired it with pink stockings (Yeah they re stocking without feet :-P ) and pink ballerinas.

Here I am back with another outfit post. I had worn this simple casual dress for a nice day shopping. Too bad none of my shopping plans were successful as all the Delhi malls were closed that very day :( I dint even get to see Sephora. All the plans ruined. Anyhow I loved dressing up. I paired the dress with smokey eyes and nude lips. I will post the makeup in a different post.

Purple lace OOTD!

Hiya everyone,

I am a day late in doing this post. I was kind of tired after a long day yesterday, so I thought of putting this up today. I had my convocation yesterday on Valentine's day. I had bought this dress a few months ago but never got a chance to wear it. As soon as I got to know about the convocation I decided to wear this very dress. Since it was pretty cold ( and the dress a bit short) I decided to wear it with black stockings. Also the lining inside the dress was black.

A day well spent + OOTD

So this weekend me and my sis went for lunch to Timber trail resort near Chandigarh. I thought I would share some pics with you all. The Outfit is not something special, its just more of a casual and relaxed one. I paired a bright red jacket with brown pants and brown shoes. Although the lunch was not that good but it was a good break from the regular life and all in all was a day spent pretty well.

I thought I would share my outfit for my cousin sister's wedding. I had been planning to wear a parandi for so long but never got a chance. Finally I thought of wearing it for one of my sister's wedding. The look was totally Punjabi. Let me know what you think about it.

Oh and all of that hair is not mine. When I got to know that I would have to use some extra hair my reaction was like 'ewwwwwwwww'. Anyways I kept aside my feelings and gave my hair over to the lady who did this hairdo.

My sister's wedding outfit

First of all wish you all a very happy Diwali! I have been missing in action lately as I had a wedding coming up and have been a bit busy lately. But anyways, you guys have seen what I wore for my sister's wedding, its time to see her wedding outfit.

Since its her one year anniversary today, I thought this would be the perfect time to do this post. Can't believe its been one year already, time really flies. Anyways this post is dedicated to her. I tried to cover the outfit, makeup and hairdo. Let us know what you guys think.

The wedding outfit was from Frontier Raas in Delhi, the jewelry from Khurana Jewelers in Amritsar and the hairdo and makeup was done by a freelance makeup artist, Ravi from Amritsar. He did a fabulous job for the makeup, it was very smokey and lovely.

Hey everyone,

Hope you guys had an amazing weekend. I had fun with my sister this weekend. We went for some shopping, a movie ( Skyfall ) and then dinner. The weekend was really nice and I loved dressing up. I chose to wear my casual red Guess top along with jeans and my favorite beige heels. I love these heels so much. They are super comfortable and I have no issues going shopping wearing them since they dont hurt my feet.

I thought I would post this outfit of the day of mine. I recently bought maroon/burgundy coloured capris from Woodland. They look super pretty and the colour is so in. I paired it with my Mango top which I also wore in the outfit post here. While in that post I wore it as a formal shirt, here I tucked it in and put on a big belt to make it more dressy. Outfit of the day- Formal casual combo

Hey everyone,

I had a bit of a work today and I was supposed to wear formals. I so wanted to wear my new Mango shirt which I got a few days back, its really comfortable and easy, but it is a bit casual. I mean it does have a collar and all but does not really look that formal. So I decided to wear my formal pants with it, but to my horror they literally wanted to fall off my waist this morning, I guess I have been losing some weight lately. :-/

Anyways I resorted to wearing another semi formal pants, hence the whole semi formal-semi casual look. Anyways I loved this top, it is so comfortable and goes well with anything. I wore it with brown pants and since I had to look formal and had to walk a bit, I gave my heels a pass and wore my Carlton London round toes which are easy to walk in. 

Just a simple necklace and a watch complete my look. I put my hair put coz its really hot in Punjab. The pictures were clicked at night, hence the tired face and dull pictures but please bear with me :)

Outfit of the day- Lace top and animal print pants!

As you all know I just got myself a pair of animal print pants a while ago from jabong.com, you can see the haul here. I really wanted to wear them pretty soon and I got to ^_^. My sister and I went for a movie yesterday, we really wanted to see some Hollywood movie as we are'nt much interested in watching Bollywood in a theatre, but to our bad luck there was no Hollywood movie show and we were stuck between barfi and Raaz3. We thought that Raaz3 would be horror and would be fun, worst movie decision ever I tell you. It was so bad. Barfi would have been so much better. Raaz3 was like a hindi show made into a 2+ hour movie. Bad, bad bad.

We got to do a little bit shopping. I got myself a shirt from Mango and some makeup stuff from Inglot and Mac :-D. I will post the pictures of that up soon. Here, you can see my outfit. I wore my animal print pants with a black lace top and nude wedges ( which I totally love). Hope all of you liked the look. Let me know :)

My outfits for my sister's wedding part 3

Hey guys,

So this is the outfit from the third day of the wedding functions, which was the wedding. I had always thought that I am going to wear a lehnga on my sister's wedding day and so I did. :) My Lehnga was selected by my mom and sister and I had myself gone to try it out and finalize it. This lehnga was bought from Delhi and I absolutely love it. It was so comfortable throughout the day.

I was getting so late that my hair was almost a mess. I got my tikka set by Lakme but had no time to do my hair. But luckily as I went to deliver my sister's breakfast to where she was getting ready, her makeup artist made my hair and it looked so much better. It was just because of him that my hair was not a mess. Anyways here go the pictures that were clicked that day.

My accessories were my kundan set bought from Patiala, my tikka and some simple bangles.

Ready with the welcoming plate

Notice how my face is darker than the rest of my body! Makes me want to hit myself for not getting a foundation that actually matched me :-/
