I thought I would review one of the best compact powders that I have used till now. It is Mac's mineralize skinfinish natural. I know this is one of the most recommended products worldwide and i second that thought. My sister and I tried it at the Mac store and it gave such a nice sheen and matte look to the face without looking over the top matte. Since we have been blessed with naturally fast healing and clear face ( Thank you so much God) we did not want too much of a coverage for everyday use.
Price:- 1450/- as far as i remember
The product seems pretty sensitive ( i found no other way to describe it ). If you use a harsh kind or a flat top brush to use it, it tends to have fall out. But its so minimal and does not bother me at all. It is so easy to use and i actually prefer bound products as compared to the loose one. The loose ones are just so time consuming to use. This skinfinish has a wonderful finish ( if that makes any sense). It makes you look matte and adds a sort of a glow to the face. A little goes a long way. My sister has been using it every single day for the past 4 months or something and we still have not hit the pan unlike the case with other inexpensive compacts. So i guess its actually quite all right for the cost of it.
Butter fingered me managed to drop this wonderful product to the floor and gave it the look of a grand canyon as you can see in the pictures. But i did not let any of this go waste and pressed the fall out back together ( so clever, are'nt I? :-P ). The coverage is medium. For those of you with heavy scarring and all i would recommend that you use it over concealer. It cannot hide any of the dark spots or blemishes. It simply evens out your skintone and gives it a nice finish overall.
I love it and I would recommend it to any of you who want to make their first purchase from Mac. Its a wonderful product. It did not break me out. It is also mineral based so that is obviously better than the other products.
The colour suits me perfectly. I think if you are in the NC 35 to Nc 40 it would suit you well. But you should definitely try it at the store before purchasing it :)

What brush do u use for it ??
you should definitely like it! I use it with Real techniques Kabuki brush or my ELF powder brush
I am thinking to check this out since many days..!! Can we apply this on our foundation -like to set everything up..?
