Kama Ayurveda Jawalini retexturising skin treatment review!

After the review of the Kama Ayurveda Miracle beauty fluid ( which you can read here ) here is the review of my second Kama product. I got back when I went to buy the fluid. Due to the extreme cold season my skin had many rashes which just refused to go away. They were there constantly never leaving. So reading about this product and seeing that it is supposed to cure dry itchy skin I thought I d give it a try. Also it was nt as expensive as the beauty fluid. There are two sizes available. I got the smaller one since I just wanted to try it out first.

Price:- 245/- for 100 ml. There was another size which was around 400/- for almost 200 ml.

First of all on its usage, it is supposed to be used on the affected area and left on for 30 to 60 minutes. You simply massage it in because it is a normal oil. It will not get absorbed like the beauty fluid. So you just leave it on that way and then wash it off with some gentle cleanser.

Let me tell you about my skin type. I have combination sensitive skin. It is perfectly normal around my forehead and cheeks but the lip area is extremely dry and occasionally I have eczema on my lips or the cupid's bow area. The eczema usually goes away but this particular winter it was constant. And I hated the dry flaky look that it had. 

I used this oil all over my face since I usually poured out more than I required.  My skin felt soft and nice after washing it off but it dint really do much for the rashes prone dry area. Otherwise if you have dry skintype this thing would be perfect for you. I personally could nt find much healing from it. Plus I  find the part where you have to leave it on for 30 to 60 minutes a bit tough. Till then you look very weird with the shiny brown colored oil on the face.

It did not break me out. It did provide good moisturization. If you have oily skin this oil is not for you. This is primarily meant for dry skin. It can also be used all over the body and then you can have a bath. My only concern about that is how would someone manage to sit after oiling the body for almost 1 hour? Overall I feel this would make very dry skin soft with regular use of it. For the price I dont think you'd regret buying it :)
