Let me tell you something about myself. I am obsessed with lip balms. I collect them like crazy. I love the nivea lip balms for their soft shine and natural looking colour. Here is another one of those lip balms. This is the third flavor that I have tried and I loved every one of them. This time I am reviewing the pink guava one that I picked up on impulse but love it totally! Here goes the review:-

Hey guys,

I thought I would post this outfit of the day of mine. I recently bought maroon/burgundy coloured capris from Woodland. They look super pretty and the colour is so in. I paired it with my Mango top which I also wore in the outfit post here. While in that post I wore it as a formal shirt, here I tucked it in and put on a big belt to make it more dressy. The 20$ makeup challenge- The Indian version

Lotus Herbals SPF-70 sunblock review

Hey guys,

So today's review is about something that I obsess over a lot and that would be sunscreens/sunblocks. Seriously guys I dont really understand why so many people avoid such an important part of our daily routine? The sun can cause some serious damage to our skin and we should make all possible attempts to avoid any such kind of a damage. You know a few years ago I did not really know that a sunscreen should be applied every 3 to 4 hours. I used to end up horribly tanned every time. Now that I know I can definitely say that my tanning has improved pretty much.

Mac lipstick review- Mocha

Today I am reviewing my most recent lipstick purchase from Mac which is a satin finish called Mocha. Lately I am in a peach-brown phase. I really wanted the perfect peach kind of a lipstick. Although I have collected many during this peach phase, but they never seem enough I guess B-)
So this is a satin finish. There are different finishes from Mac, and I have tried almost all of them except the matte finish which I think may end up being too drying for my lips. So what I think about this lipstick, read on to know.

Oriflame Wonder lash mascara review

Hey guys,

Hope all of you are having an amazing weekend. I thought I would review my current favorite mascara which is pretty inexpensive and of good quality. I dont really like investing too much in mascaras as they are good only till 6 months and that too is the maximum. After that they harbor bacteria and can lead to infections and all. So I prefer that a mascara is affordable but not compromised on quality. So here is one such mascara.

Oriflame Peach me perfect skin glow review

I believe all of us really like using tinted moisturizers as they are not very heavy on the skin and also better than using foundations. Well this is the review of a tinted moisturizer that I got thinking of it as a foundation but later found it to be a TM. Anyways I sort of had a hate/love relationship with it for long and finally I have decided to love it :) It Oriflame's TM in the colour light.

Nyx Shine killer review

I thought I should do a product review today since it has been pretty long since I last did one. I ordered some Nyx stuff from B2Nshop.com. You can see the haul here. Due to the extreme hot weather I sort of had big time oily skin all summer so I thought that I should get a primer so that the oil can be controlled to some extent.

Outfit of the day- Formal casual combo

Hey everyone,

I had a bit of a work today and I was supposed to wear formals. I so wanted to wear my new Mango shirt which I got a few days back, its really comfortable and easy, but it is a bit casual. I mean it does have a collar and all but does not really look that formal. So I decided to wear my formal pants with it, but to my horror they literally wanted to fall off my waist this morning, I guess I have been losing some weight lately. :-/

Anyways I resorted to wearing another semi formal pants, hence the whole semi formal-semi casual look. Anyways I loved this top, it is so comfortable and goes well with anything. I wore it with brown pants and since I had to look formal and had to walk a bit, I gave my heels a pass and wore my Carlton London round toes which are easy to walk in. 

Just a simple necklace and a watch complete my look. I put my hair put coz its really hot in Punjab. The pictures were clicked at night, hence the tired face and dull pictures but please bear with me :)

My makeup shopping!

Outfit of the day- Lace top and animal print pants!

As you all know I just got myself a pair of animal print pants a while ago from jabong.com, you can see the haul here. I really wanted to wear them pretty soon and I got to ^_^. My sister and I went for a movie yesterday, we really wanted to see some Hollywood movie as we are'nt much interested in watching Bollywood in a theatre, but to our bad luck there was no Hollywood movie show and we were stuck between barfi and Raaz3. We thought that Raaz3 would be horror and would be fun, worst movie decision ever I tell you. It was so bad. Barfi would have been so much better. Raaz3 was like a hindi show made into a 2+ hour movie. Bad, bad bad.

We got to do a little bit shopping. I got myself a shirt from Mango and some makeup stuff from Inglot and Mac :-D. I will post the pictures of that up soon. Here, you can see my outfit. I wore my animal print pants with a black lace top and nude wedges ( which I totally love). Hope all of you liked the look. Let me know :)

4 different ways I apply my foundation!

I was thinking of today's post and I thought that I should probably write about the different methods of foundation application that I have tried. There are many other ways but I am just mentioning about the ones that I have tried a lot and think would help you all. So lets just jump into the post.

1. Using your Fingers

Oh yes, You guys might have guessed this one. Its probably the oldest method of using foundation on the face, we have seen many people use it this way. But does it really give you that perfect finish? After trying other methods too, I can definitely say no. Atleast not for liquid foundations, it does work for some stick and mousse foundations but not for liquid ones. But it is really the fastest way, so if you are in a hurry then its definitely pretty easy to do so. If I use my fingers I do make sure that i go over it with some flat top brush so that the foundation looks very natural. 

Neutrogena oil free moisture review- Combination skin

Just a while ago I reviewed the Clean n clear fairness cream which I did not quite like, you can read its review here. Now I thought I should review my favorite moisturizer so far. When I was 16 or 17 I had no idea how a moisturizer should be. I used to use weird creams which looked dry and made my skin look bad. I also used Garnier creams which are somewhat heavy as compared to what I use now. I had read some reviews of this neutrogena oil free moisture. Its not available in my hometown I guess, but I just grabbed it on  one of my trips to Chandigarh. And since then this has made my hopes from every moisturizer so high that I dont like any other. Read on to know more about it.

Clean n Clear clear fairness cream review

Hope all of you are having a wonderful week. Due to the extreme heat in Punjab these days, I have always used a moisturizer which is oil free so that my combination skin does not look like a disco ball. In any case my nose never stops shining like a star and I dont need any more shine by using some products which are greasy. The first time I saw this cream in one of my local stores I was nt really interested. But the other day I saw it in the supermarket and since it was the little tube and the cream claimed to be oil free, I just grabbed it. Read on to know how I liked it.

Lakme Enrich satins no.352. The perfect inexpensive red!

It seems like it has been so long since I last did a lipstick review. I thought I would do a red lip color review today. As you all know that red is in all the time and it is an amazing lipcolor which can perfectly transform your look. But its not a color that you would wear every single day unless you are comfortable with it, so I think it is better to have an inexpensive red rather than a very expensive one. And here I am with such a red from lakme.

Site review Jabong.com! My new haul

Hey guys,

Hope all of you had an amazing week. Lately at every bell I am alert like my dogs because I am eagerly waiting for so many different parcels. Well one of them arrived today. ^_^

I had placed my order with jabong.com on thursday for two different pants. Since both had different shipping times I placed two different orders, and one of them arrived in the morning at the exact time that I expected. This is not my first order with them, mother's day gift for my mom was also bought from jabong.com and the service has been excellent. The parcels have not been delayed unlike some sites I have ordered from and also the order was shipped the next day of my placing it. So that is some super quick service that I love, I hate waiting for a long time to receive my orders, that just makes me impatient. Every time the bell rings and it is not the postman, it makes me sad :(

My outfits for my sister's wedding part 3

Hey guys,

So this is the outfit from the third day of the wedding functions, which was the wedding. I had always thought that I am going to wear a lehnga on my sister's wedding day and so I did. :) My Lehnga was selected by my mom and sister and I had myself gone to try it out and finalize it. This lehnga was bought from Delhi and I absolutely love it. It was so comfortable throughout the day.

I was getting so late that my hair was almost a mess. I got my tikka set by Lakme but had no time to do my hair. But luckily as I went to deliver my sister's breakfast to where she was getting ready, her makeup artist made my hair and it looked so much better. It was just because of him that my hair was not a mess. Anyways here go the pictures that were clicked that day.

My accessories were my kundan set bought from Patiala, my tikka and some simple bangles.

My outfits for my sister's wedding part 2

Hey everyone,

I thought that I would post my second outfit for my sister's wedding. This was a punjabi suit which I got from Patiala. I wore it along with matching blue suede pumps, some bangles that I got from westside and gold jewelry. This is one of my favorite suits. I love it for its colour and its embroidery which is pure Patiala shahi. Hope you guys like it. Let me know your views.

The function was that of Sangeet, a pretty informal affair and we enjoyed it the most. It was pretty relaxed and was held in the garden of the hotel we were staying in. 

Caution new bloggers!

Ever since I started blogging I got requests from two companies to try their products and do a blog post. They emailed me religiously, replied to all my queries and asked for some information. Today I thought I would share my experience with you guys. But first let me name these companies.

The first one is VIVIANA, some Indian makeup brand or something.

So these companies themselves approached me, I never asked them to contact me or something. They emailed me regularly, solved all my queries and took my address for sending the samples. I was pretty new to blogging and did not really know that this might just be an attempt to take my data, since in today's world any database is also worth a lot. I have no idea how they might have used it but they definitely just took my data and all of this sample thing was a scam to just obtain that.

Worried that there was no reply back or anything, I emailed them but have not gotten any reply. Index trading I did not expect much because that is not even an Indian company but I had no expected such experience with Viviana India. I would definitely not purchase anything from such a company which only emails to obtain some data, neither would I recommend them to any of you.

So I thought I would just share my experience with you all and caution you too against such scams. Be careful who you release your data to and make sure not to provide them the address, rather just give them a phone number and ask them to confirm through that.

Have any of you had such experiences too? I am just worried about the data. I dont care about any of their samples, since I did not start my blog to receive some products rather to share my opinions and views with you all!

My outfits for my sister's wedding part 1

I wore a sari with some pearl work as I love pearls. I wanted to get an updo along with it, so this is what the lakme person did. The makeup was done by me, but if you ask me now there are so many things that I would like to change about it :-/

Eva Deo in Glee review

Hey everyone,

I was just thinking about what to review next when I saw the image of this deo on my computer and I thought that I should review it now. I am sort of confused by this mist, it is also supposed to be Peppy fruity, but I have no idea whether Peppy fruity is its name or something else. Anyhow, I have this obsession with buying Eva deos, I keep collecting them since they are so inexpensive. I have a good collection of other non Eva stuff too, but for everyday I love these ones.
