Neutrogena oil free moisture review- Combination skin

Hey guys,

Just a while ago I reviewed the Clean n clear fairness cream which I did not quite like, you can read its review here. Now I thought I should review my favorite moisturizer so far. When I was 16 or 17 I had no idea how a moisturizer should be. I used to use weird creams which looked dry and made my skin look bad. I also used Garnier creams which are somewhat heavy as compared to what I use now. I had read some reviews of this neutrogena oil free moisture. Its not available in my hometown I guess, but I just grabbed it on  one of my trips to Chandigarh. And since then this has made my hopes from every moisturizer so high that I dont like any other. Read on to know more about it.

Price:- 299/- for 128 ml which is pretty much amount

As per the instructions you need one pump but I generally use less than a pump and it covers my face well. It blends so nicely and the skin is not overly matte or overly shiny. Its just normal and moisturized. I love that it does not feel heavy on my skin, rather feels very light as if I am wearing nothing ( On the face of course ).

I have combination skin so this is perfect for me. My T zone is shiny and gets oily but other parts of the  face are normal. This moisturizes very well. It is not greasy at all, gets absorbed in the skin easily. It claims to keep the face matte for the whole day but that is not really true since in this heat the skin is bound to be oily after some time. But yes it does keep the oil at bay for around 3 hours after which it is a bit oily.

I have never had any acne with this. Just a little bit of amount covers my face well. I have had this for 3 months and a lot of quantity is still left. So it lasts pretty long and the price is also justified. I also like the pump packaging which is easy to use rather than waiting for the lotion to come out of a wide mouth. The consistency is a bit runny, but I guess that is the reason it absorbs so well.

I think it would be really good for oily skinned people too. I highly recommend it and think that everyone who does not like moisturizers that are greasy or leave an oily cast must give this one a try. The only thing this is missing is SPF but I think there is another variant which does have SPF, I ll have to look for that one I guess.

Final word, I love this moisturizer. It controls oil for sometime, moisturizes the face and does not feel heavy. What more does anyone need. I do recommend it and think everyone would like it a lot. :)

PROS:-
1. Non greasy
2. Oil free
3. Absorbs well
4. Moisturizes well
5. Does not leave a white cast on the skin

CONS:-
1. No SPF
2. I think Johnson and Johnson tests on animals

My rating:- 4.5/5

I have combination and sensitive skin. It's been hard to find a skin product for me. Recently I've been looking for a cream to use for both during the day and night. I have tried the Made from Earth Vitamin C Moisturizer one for a week and am absolutely in love with this. And its organic without chemicals! When I put it on, it feels light and refreshing with no scent.

It has the perfect amount of moisturizer so my face feels hydrated and I don't need to constantly reapply nor wiping oil off my face. I have not found any other product fits my skin so well and I'll stick with this one for a while!
