Lotus Herbals Pure color lipstick in Peach creme review and LOTD

Hey guys,
How are you doing? As many of you might be knowing I recently posted an OOTD post and this post is the review of the lipstick that I wore in that. Oh Yeah I have become a hard core fan of lipsticks and have joined the band wagon with many other lipstick lovers out there.

If I had the option  to wear only a few make up products, believe me a lipcolor would always be on my list. Naturally, I have really pale lips and it makes me look sick and also as if i have smoked some 100 cigarettes or something. So I always prefer to cover them in some colour. They are pigmented, just pale devoid of any colour. In college I did not wear any makeup till the last semester. So I always used tinted lip balms along with kajal. It kind of surprises me how a person's tastes change over time. I used to love wearing kajal and now I just find it too hard to remove. Hence, Kajal is not on the top in my make up list.

Anyways finally coming to the lip color. I got this a few days back. I had my eyes on it since long because I wanted a nice peach kind of a colour. This is a peachy brown colour which looks so nice on any person. I think it will go well with all skin types.

Price:- 225/-

I had never even looked at the Lotus herbals makeup counter till a few months back. When i tried thei first lipstick in Sensuous mauve, i really like it. Especially the price that it retails for. Also the lipstick is free of any harmful ingredients and is a Vegan lipstick. All the more good for me. I have sensitive lips which react to any harmful stuff put on them. But this lipstick did not give any such issues.

Also it is good for beginners since they're not too expensive. And as for me, I can buy lipsticks and then not feel guilty about buying them. Yes, Yes I feel guilty about buying makeup, but then maybe some of you do too.

Overall I am impressed with the lasting power of this lipstick. It stays for 4 to 5 hours easily if you use two coats of it. It lasted long and did not look over the top kinds. The texture is creamy and is easy to use. These lipsticks can be a good goft for anyone. I dont think I really have anything bad to say about them.

See all the below swatches:-

The above picture is taken after wearing it for four hours and having dinner inbetween. Pretty good, huh!

I wanted to get the shade Carnation but I found out that it was an exact match for Colorbar Velvet matte in Pretty please. So i got this one instead.

A little note to people with dry lips, use a lip balm underneath. It wont dry out your lips and the lipstick will stay on comfortably. Also I just noted today that the lipstick is sort of leaning like the Leaning tower of Pisa. Maybe its breaking a bit from the end due to the weather.

Pros:-
1. Beautiful colour selection
2. Inexpensive
3. Lasts around 4 to 5 hours
4. Creamy
5. Available at all Lotus Herbals counters

Cons:-
1. May not be too moisturizing for those with dry lips
2. Breaking a bit from the end

My rating:- 4.8/5

Hey...I'm looking for a brown shade and a red shade. DO you think this shade will do for a red shade that I've been looking for? And how's the carnation one?

Hey Apoorva! No for a blood red kind of a shade you should go for Lakme enrich satins 352 or revlon colorburst in true red. This is more of a peach
